Cookie & Local Storage Notice

SafeDiff currently uses only storage technologies needed to operate the application and remember user-selected functionality.
Necessary entitlement cookie
After successful paid-license activation, SafeDiff may store an entitlement cookie.
Purpose:
To recognize the browser as having a valid SafeDiff entitlement.
This cookie is necessary to provide licensed features.
It contains your plan, a license reference, an activation reference and timestamps. It does not contain your email address, license key or payment details.
It is not used for behavioural advertising.
Local storage
SafeDiff may use local storage for preferences such as:
- light/dark/system appearance;
- sidebar state; and
- other application settings.
IndexedDB
SafeDiff may use IndexedDB to save local preflight history and local project organization.
Information can include report findings and summaries.
Raw uploaded CSV files are not intentionally saved as part of ordinary preflight history.
You can remove saved SafeDiff history from Settings or clear the site's local data through your browser.
Analytics and advertising cookies
SafeDiff does not currently use non-essential advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
If SafeDiff later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, any legally required consent control will be implemented before those technologies are enabled.
Browser controls
You can remove cookies and site storage using your browser.
Removing necessary SafeDiff storage may:
- deactivate a local license session;
- remove preferences; or
- erase locally saved projects or preflight history.
